The Golden Record is a solid disc of copper, plated in gold, with music and images from Earth encoded in the surface. Two copies of the record were produced, each one sent into space with one of the Voyagers on the off chance that an alien picked them up. This is my own Golden Record, the message I would send into space, what I would want someone to know about me.
